Much of the work of the Center’s work involves developing relationships with other entities and working with these partners to accomplish mutual goals. The Center and its partners have developed cooperative efforts with a variety of organizations that provide direct program services and technical assistance to education agencies that provide educational programs and services to students with disabilities. These efforts include planning joint events, shared work analysis, joint presentations at national conferences, roundtable discussions at capacity-building institutes, advisory committee representation, work sessions, joint product development, and contractual partnerships Among the Center's collaborators are, the Urban Special Education Leadership Collaborative, The National Post-School Outcomes Center (NPSO), the National Secondary Transition Technical Assistance Center (NSTTAC), Westat, Parent Training Institutes (PTIs), the Regional Resource Centers (RRCs), other members of OSEP's Technical Assistance and Dissemination Network, and OSEP.

The Center’s collaboration with other organizations marshals additional resources that help to enrich its products and services. Such collaboration also benefits the Center by increasing its exposure to potential clients for its products and services. A major goal of these collaborations is to prepare and disseminate information and materials that will increase the awareness and use of research-validated practices by a variety of audiences.
