Previous Teleseminars and Web Events
Webcasts and teleseminars are two strategies the Center employs to provide Web-based technical assistance to SEAs, school districts, parents and other target audiences. These events, offered on a quarterly basis, focus on issues affecting dropout and/or effective programs and strategies to reduce dropout rates for students with disabilities. Researchers and/or content experts are the featured presenters for these events.
Teleseminars are 90 minutes in length, providing approximately 60 minutes of content and a 30-minute question-and-answer session. Following each teleseminar, an audio copy of the event is provided to each participant and the transcript from the event is posted online for extended conversation with the presenter for a 10-day period. Transcripts from the seminars are also archived on the Center's website to increase access to a wider audience.
